HUDDERSFIELD'S George Hotel is flying high after being honoured by the town's RAF Association branch.
The St George's Square hotel has hosted the association's monthly meetings for the past two years.
Now, it has received a certificate of thanks - which also confirms the hotel as the association's official headquarters.
The certificate is seen being presented to general manager Grant Upton (right) by branch chairman Frank Smith (centre) and publicity officer Gerald Taylor.
Mr Taylor said the association used to meet at the Polish Club in Fitzwilliam Street.
But meetings had been switched to the George because it was in the town centre and had good access for the disabled.
Mr Taylor said the association, which meets at The George on the second Thursday of each month, would welcome more members from ex-RAF personnel in the town.
The association is planning a Remembrance Day dinner in November.
