A RUGBY club has 2,000 reasons to celebrate after their sponsored walk.
The Kingston All Blacks under 13s raised around £2,000 by walking from the Galpharm Stadium to Wakefield before the Huddersfield Giants’ 52-0 victory there recently.
Nick Olderson led the team of around 18 children, their parents and supporters on the walk to Belle Vue.
Nick said: “We’re still collecting all the sponsorship but it’s around £2,000 which is great, we’re really pleased with everyone’s effort.”
