FANCY becoming a table footballer for charity?

The Huddersfield branch of the Myasthenia Gravis Association is being supported by the Drinkers Delight Inflatable Roadshow at the Yorkshire Victoria pub on Lockwood Road.

Myasthenia Gravis is a condition which weakens muscles and can be fatal.

It affects all ages, including children.

Teams are being invited to enter a giant table top five-a-side competition from noon on Sunday, May 1.

The giant table top inflatable pitch, which measures 40ft by 20ft, will see players strapped to poles.

The family fun day will also feature sumo wrestling, a bouncy castle, also live music and raffles.

The charity's Huddersfield branch secretary, Sue Johnson, said: "I would like to thank everybody at the Yorkshire Victoria for their support.

"All the money raised will be used locally to support sufferers of this terrible disease.

For details of entering five-a-side teams, at £20 a side, in the table top footy tournament, or having a shot at sumo, contact Barry or Kate at the Yorkshire Victoria on 01484 450044.
