A TEENAGE girl was attacked by a gang who stole just £2 as she walked home from school.
The 15-year-old All Saints High School pupil was walking past a bus stop near the Asda store on Bradford Road at about 3.45pm on Monday when she was asked for the time by a group of four or five girls.
They set upon her, grabbed her hair and pulled her to the ground, demanding a mobile phone and cash.
The terrified girl handed over £2 in change and the gang rang off in the direction of Brackenhall leaving her badly shaken.
The teenage girls were all mixed race African Caribbean.
