A STUDENT had clumps of hair pulled out and was kicked in the head in Huddersfield.
A man threatened the 19-year-old with a 2in blade, pushed her to the ground and attacked her in Wakefield Road, Aspley as she walked home with a woman friend at about 3am yesterday morning.
The man demanded the victim’s handbag.
He grabbed the bag, which became tangled in her hair. The robber pushed her down and kicked her head several times.
He grabbed the bag and ran off.
He is a stocky, mixed-race African-Caribbean, about 6ft tall. He is 25 to 30 with short brown hair and dark eyes and was wearing a green hooded top.
The handbag has pink letters and words “Roxy Australia” on it.
