PEOPLE in Huddersfield are being asked to wear their heart on their sleeve for a charity.
To mark National Heart Month the British Heart Foundation is asking people to write a note to their loved ones in their local BHF shop window.
By declaring their love for all to see, locals can help the charity save lives through its pioneering research, patient care and campaigning for change.
The suggested donation for the Love Notes is from £1.
Linda Puchala, the charity’s Yorkshire area manager. said: “Love Notes are a fantastic way to publicly declare your love for your friends, family or a special someone and to show support for the BHF Red for Heart campaign.
“People really do put their heart on the line – we have even had marriage proposals.
“We welcome everyone to come and join in the romantic fun.”
The BHF has a shop in New Street in Huddersfield and one in Commercial Street, Brighouse.
