KIRKWOOD Hospice supporters enjoyed a fashion show at a glamorous annual fundraiser.

The Sex and the City themed Ladies’ Luncheon at the Gomersal Park Hotel aimed to prove that feeling stylish and sexy has no age or city limits.

It was more like Manhattan than Cleckheaton, as guests drank non-alcoholic ‘Cosmopolitans’ and ate a New York-style, three-course meal.

British film star Shirley Anne Field was the after-dinner speaker and the afternoon’s entertainment was topped off in great style with a fashion show by Peters of Huddersfield.

A Get Carried Away tombola, Sexy Samantha’s prize draw and Mr Big’s auction lot of a spa day for two, donated by Titanic Spa, helped to raise £3,000 for Kirkwood Hospice on the day.

The Sexy Ladies Luncheon in the City was supported by Redmayne-Bentley Stockbrokers.
