A MAN was badly hurt in a glass attack at a Huddersfield nightclub.

Police went to Johnny's in Beast Market at about 1.40am on Saturday morning.

A 34-year-old man from Brighouse was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

He received treatment for injuries to his face.

The Examiner understands he was attacked with a broken glass or bottle.

It is believed the assault began in the toilets of the club, then moved into the bar area.

The incident then continued outside the club's entrance.

Two suspects are described as mixed-race men aged 20 to 30.

It is believed one was wearing a white top at the time of the attack.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
