A HUDDERSFIELD man has continued his amazing fundraising.
David Tinsley, of Warwick Avenue, Golcar, has handed over another £2,000 to health services in Huddersfield.
Mr Tinsley, 71, a retired electrician, raised the money for the heart and stroke units at the Royal Infirmary.
He set out on his fundraising marathon more than 10 years ago, having suffered a heart attack and has now raised more than £10,000.
Mr Tinsley said: “In 1996, when I had my heart attack, I had some wonderful treatment, including a heart bypass operation.
“Four years ago, I then suffered a stroke which left me paralysed down my left side.
“It left me confined to a wheelchair, but again I had wonderful treatment”.
Mr Tinsley raises funds by organising and arranging quizzes and selling them to clubs and organisations.
