CROSLAND HILL couple Bryan and Nina Reynolds celebrated their golden wedding with a party for family and friends at Milnsbridge Liberal Club.

They were married at St Winifred’s Church in Wibsey, Bradford on October 10, 1959.

The couple had met at a dance at the Majestic Ballroom in the city.

They initially set up home in Shipley, before running an off licence in Gildersome for a short time.

They then moved to Dalton, before finally settling at Andrew Crescent, Crosland Hill.

Mrs Reynolds, who is originally from Naples in Italy, previously worked at a weaving mill.

Mr Reynolds worked as a grocer for the Co-op in Shipley, then became a driver for Huddersfield Post Office.

He enjoys playing darts for Primrose Hill Liberal Club.

The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.
