WOODSOME Hall Golf Club will be decked out with holly, ivy and other evergreens when it hosts a flower festival for the RNLI.

Huddersfield Flower Club has chosen to transform the clubhouse on Woodsome Road, Fenay Bridge, into a winter wonderland next Thursday.

Rooms will be decked out in different styles, including one on the theme of a White Christmas and another as a Tudor dining hall.

Kirklees Mayor Clr Mary Harkin is due to open the show at 1.45pm and carol singers will be there from 2pm. Admission is £3.50 and refreshments will be available.
