ABOUT 30 women who started at Greenhead High School For Girls in 1954 have held a reunion.
All are now reaching their 65th birthdays and they held a buffet at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, to chat about their schooldays and their lives since.
It was organised by former pupils Sandra Harling, Pat Townend and Molly Holmes.
The school’s centenary will be next January.
Its 50th anniversary was held when the women from the reunion were pupils there.
