A NEW car park at Greenhead Park in Huddersfield cannot yet be opened to the public, Kirklees Council has confirmed.
Visitors to the new cafe in the former conservatory were left confused after the car park near the Trinity Street gates was constantly locked.
But Kirklees Council has revealed it has not yet received the green light to open the car park to the public.
A spokeswoman said they hoped the legal process enabling them to open the gates would be completed soon and it would be fully operational by the end of the month.
