GRAFFITI art and sculpture are among the workshops being offered by West Yorkshire Print Workshop at half-term.
Graphic artist Mike Barrett will lead the graffiti workshop on Friday February 25, showing examples of his own work and that of other artists.
The one-day session at the workshop at Huddersfield Road, Mirfield, will help young people learn how to create large-scale graffiti images.
They will use a range of different techniques to make images that look like they have been created with spray cans. The day has been funded by the Young People’s Service holiday activity scheme.
The workshop runs from 10am to 4pm and is for ages 13 to 19.
On Thursday February 24, from 10am to 4pm, Mirfield-based sculptor Mark Milnes will be creating new sculptures for a sunken garden which is being reestablished by the Mirfield Community Partnership next to the print workshop .
