A CANCER charity has launched a handbook specially written for people caring for a friend or relative who is suffering from the disease.
Macmillan Cancer Relief has released the guide - Hello And How Are You - to provide information, support and advice for carers.
The free book also contains ideas and suggestions based on the experiences of people who have been carers themselves, rather than from a medical perspective.
Elizabeth Newbould, one of the carers who helped create the guide, said: "Caring for someone you love can be very demanding.
"We hope that hearing about some of the things we did and found out while we were caring will help other people."
Macmillan Cancer Relief provides care and emotional support to people living with cancer.
