A & E campaigners were praised for their show of strength at a puiblic meeting in Huddersfield.
But there was anger from many at the John Smith’s Stadium as health bosses tried to answer questions over controversial plans for future hospital care in both Huddersfield and Calderdale.
Many posted strongly-worded comments on social media.

Kevin Jebson: "From what I have seen on TV and read, the CCG sound an arrogant bunch of unelected and unaccountable so and so’s. Its depressing to think they have control over my health care, I have no confidence at all in them, yet there appears to be no avenue for people to remove them."

Nancy Woods: "What an un-democratic process! I have absolutely no confidence in the CCG - what evidence do they have to show that this change will work? It doesn’t matter how many times Steve Ollerton claims ‘lives will be saved’, if he has no evidence, it means nothing. Who does he think he is? God?"
Daniel Ward: "Lives will be lost. Who does he think he is trying to kid?"
