THE top two politicians on Kirklees Council are joining a growing festive trend - by not posting Christmas cards.
But it's not because leader Clr Kath Pinnock and her deputy Clr John Smithson have gone miserable.
Instead, they are sending out the season's greetings via the internet as an e-card.
The two say it will not only save money, but also help the environment through cutting the use of paper.
