A HAIR stylist from Mark Riley Hairdressers in Huddersfield has been chosen as one of a handful of young rising stars.
Now Hayley Jennings is to appear in front of an audience of thousands of people at the hairdressing industry’s largest three day annual event – dubbed by many as the hairdressing equivalent of London Fashion Week or its Paris equivalent
Salon International at Excel in London runs from October 12 to 15 and attracts over 48,000 visitors from across the world to see and experience the best of British hairdressing.
Hayley is a specialist in creating those celebrity red carpet looks, through her expertise with hair extensions.
Her creativity and skill have won her a place on the Racoon International Artistic Team. Racoon International is a leading supplier of real and synthetic hair extensions to top salons throughout the world.
Racoon International hair extensions are the celebrity’s favourite choice and were behind the new-look Sharon Osbourne bob.
Other celebrity fans include Kelly Osbourne, Denise Van Outen, Jenny Frost, Jade Jagger and Emmerdale’s bad girl and Strictly Come Dancing diva Claire King.
In addition to presenting live non-stop dance and catwalk shows and a series of seminars on the showpiece Racoon International stage, the Team will also be presenting the company’s new Secret Seduction and Couture Collection trend collections.
Hayley said: “Working at Salon International will be fantastic. Being a Racoon Educator as well as being in the Artistic Team has been inspiring.
“Working alongside A-list celebrity hairdresser Errol Douglas, watching his amazing cutting was just superb.”
Hayley works at the Mark Riley salon in Huddersfield town centre and at the company’s training academy in Brighouse.
