A BRIGHOUSE head teacher is playing a major role in a national research project into the future of learning.
Graham Soles, of Brighouse High School, is one of 10 school leaders taking part in the year-long project.
Launched by the National College for School Leadership, the project aims to look at radical new models of school organisation which best meet the needs of students.
The theory of "personalisation" which the team are looking at aims to examine and share best practice.
Mr Soles said: "Personalisation is about moving away from uniformity and standardised approaches.
"Heads are already out there putting personalisation into practice.
"This project is about exploring what works in real depth and then sharing this with each other so that we can develop practical solutions that will work across the school system," said Mr Soles.
The head teachers making up the leadership network also aim to influence Government education policy.
