A MILNSBRIDGE man is offering to help seriously ill people through the power of prayer.
Christopher Sheargold, 54, has become a prayer group leader for the Blackpool-based World Healing Crusade.
The registered charity, founded in 1953, states on its website: "Our aim is total commitment to helping people in need, through love, faith and prayer.
"The essence of our work is faith healing."
The prayers are for people who are chronically ill or need rehabilitation and support after illness.
Mr Sheargold will be leading the free sessions at Crosland Moor Community Centre on Park Road West every Monday from 2pm to 4pm.
