HUDDERSFIELD University's health centre has been officially opened.
It boasts state-of-the-art design and advanced facilities for thousands of student patients.
The £2m development was officially declared open by the university's vice-chancellor, Prof John Tarrant.
The new building opened its doors to the public in April.
Bill Mayers, chairman of South Huddersfield Primary Care Trust, said: "The health centre building is stunning.
"We are delighted we can now offer an even wider range of services to our patients in top- class, modern surroundings."
The facility boasts state-of- the-art fixtures and fittings, spacious treatment rooms and minor operations suites.
Additionally, visitors can expect on site accommodation, special nursing teams, visiting consultants and health education facilities.
The centre has a register of 7,800 patients from the university's staff and students, a 10% increase on last year.
Dr Alan Short, a GP at the centre, said: "Our new premises will allow us to further develop the extensive services we already offer to our rapidly rising list of patients.
