A CAFE has won an award for its selection of healthy foods.
Rafters Coffee Shop at Thatchers furniture store in Threadneedle Street, Huddersfield town centre won a Kirklees Healthy Choice Gold Award from the council's Environmental Health Department.
The cafe, which offers customers a choice of healthy, allergen-free and more indulgent foods, had previously held a silver award in the same category.
Rafters' manageress Glenys Wood said: "The award is very nice.
"People should be given a choice without having it rammed down their throats. We have a normal and a low-fat option."
