INFORMATION on local health services is being delivered to all homes in Huddersfield.

The guides give details on plans for local health services in the coming year, information on how local health services performed, how NHS money was spent last year, tips on how to stay healthy and a list of useful telephone numbers.

Kevin Holder, chief executive of the GP-led Huddersfield Central Primary Care Trust and South Huddersfield Primary Care Trust, said: "Your Guide to Local Health Services is a simple way of communicating with local people, allowing us to let them know what we are doing with their money to improve local health care.

"It also invites people to provide us with feedback.

"I encourage readers to fill in and return the comments form to us – they could win a deluxe hamper of fresh fruit and healthy foods."

There are two versions of the report, one for the residents in the Holme, Colne and Dearne Valley (South Huddersfield) and the second for the town centre and immediate surrounding areas (Central).

If anyone doesn't receive a copy, they can call the Primary Care Trust headquarters on 01484 466013, or visit the PCT websites at: www.huddersfieldcentral-pct.nhs.uk or www.southhuddersfield-pct.nhs.uk.
