A MENTAL health trust has been cleared after concerns were raised about its learning disability services.

Investigators gave their verdict after investigating South West Yorkshire Mental Health NHS Trust.

The trust covers a population of almost 1m people in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield, running services from 110 sites.

A Healthcare Commission review was set up after complaints about learning disability services at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield.

But the commission's report said: "No serious concerns about those services were found in the course of the review."
