A HEALTHY living fair will take place for anyone wanting to improve their physical wellbeing.

The Alliance for Healthy Living will host the event in Huddersfield a bid to promote health awareness among the community.

The aim is to help people engage in physical activities as a way of improving their health.

The fair will be at Thornton Lodge Community Centre, Moorbottom Road, from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday next week.

Organiser Ruth Duffy said: “This is an excellent opportunity for people from Thornton Lodge, Lockwood and Crosland Moor to come for a health check and speak to trainers and various groups in all aspects of health and wellbeing.”

Visitors will be encouraged to join one of the workshops, such as yoga, baby ballet and tai chi.

Health trainers will give advice to anyone wanting more information.

There will also be interpreters for non-English speakers.
