HEART patient David Tinsley returned to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to say a £3,900 thank-you.
He made the money for the cardiology unit in 12 months.
Some of the total came from the sale of novelty handbags containing a face cloth and soap.
Mr Tinsley, 67, from Golcar, netted other money by organising quizzes over the year.
In six years he has raised almost £8,000 for the hospital after having a heart bypass.
David said: "I have attended many rehabilitation classes to keep up the good work the doctors and nurses gave me to continue my life.
"As the years pass, I always try to better the previous year's money raised."
