CHILDREN in Year 6 at Ravensthorpe Junior School were sent home today because of heating problems.
The school in Myrtle Road, which has more than 360 pupils, was unable to heat some of the classrooms because of boiler problems.
The problems came as temperatures dropped to freezing and snow hit several areas of Kirklees.
