HUDDERSFIELD University student Helen Coe is asking for your vote in a competition with a difference.

Helen, 20, who is in her second year studying fashion, is through to the final 25 contestants from 33,000 entries in the Great Rent Escape contest.

The competition, run by Virgin Mobile, will see the 10 students who rack up the highest number of votes in an online poll live in the lap of student luxury by securing a house for themselves and three student pals rent free for a year.

Helen, who currently lives in Snow Island, said she was handed a flyer about the competition in the street.

She said: "You had to fill out a form, answer a question and then the task was to do `something' with a box.

"I made a bikini! It's a little bit different."

Helen said she and her friends had come up with some vote winning tactics - and started on Monday.

She added: "We went out dressed as nurses to get people's attention and to get them to vote.

"I've got a few more ideas up my sleeve after that."
