FORMER Huddersfield police officers reminisced over their days on the beat at a special reunion dinner.
October 1 marked the 40th anniversary of the amalgamation of the former Huddersfield Borough and West Riding County forces.
And to mark the occasion the dinner was held at the YMCA sports complex at Laund Hill, Salendine Nook, along with a display of memorabilia.
More than 100 people turned up, some from as far away as Cyprus and Canada.
Invitations were sent to both former police and civilian staff.
