SUPERMARKET staff have raised money for a children’s charity.
Workers from Sainsbury’s on Market Street held a quiz night in aid of the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust.
They raised more than £400 for the charity, which wants to open a children’s hospice and respite centre in Brackenhall.
Fresh food manager Katie Chislett said: “It was a really good evening and everyone had a good time.”
Twelve teams of current and former employees took part in the event at St Patrick’s Catholic Centre on Trinity Street.
