Hepworth Pre-school raises cash for children’s unit at LGI

CHILDREN at Hepworth Pre-school had a heart for charity.

They raised £177.04 for the children’s unit at Leeds General Infirmary.

February was National Heart Month and the pre-school organised a variety of activities to encourage them to stay healthy and look after their hearts into adulthood.

Activities included aerobic sessions, a dress in red day and making heart-shaped pancakes on Pancake Tuesday.

All the children from the pre-school took part in the events. They are all aged between two and four-and-a-half years.

The group meets in Hepworth Village Hall.
