A HGV has overturned on a road to the M62 causing chaos for motorists using the Ainley Top roundabout.
The articulated lorry overturned at 1.35pm today at Blackley roundabout.
The driver was injured and paramedics are still at the scene treating him.
West Yorkshire Police have closed Blackley Road and its roundabout due to debris and a suspected spillage from the HGV.
Drivers are being diverted the wrong way round the roundabout in a bid to get traffic moving, but tailbacks could last for hours as Highways officers work to remove the lorry.
