AUTHOR Kimm Walker (pictured) will have a whistle-stop tour of the district.

The High Flatts mum will hold two talks about her book which tells her family’s journey after her son James was diagnosed with cancer aged 15.

Kimm, a former teacher, will be at Birstall Library on Tuesday, September 29, from 10.30am to 11.30am and at Shepley Library on Tuesday, October 6 at 7.30pm.

She will talk about her book and family’s experience and how she gave up teaching to devote more time to her writing.
