GENERATIONS of Denby Dale children will remember being cared for by playgroup worker Hilary Senior.
But after 25 years of working at Denby Dale Playgroup, she has decided to leave.
Hilary is leaving to help her daughter, also a nursery worker, with childcare as she is expecting her second child.
Sarah Squires-Grimbleby, chairwoman of the playgroup committee, said: "Hilary has been very loyal to us, but family comes first.
"She thought long and hard about the decision and it's been quite emotional.
"Some of the parents who bring their children here were looked after by Hilary as children. She will be greatly missed."
During her time with the playgroup at Denby Dale Methodist Church Hilary has been a paid worker and has trained for qualifications.
She worked with children at the playgroup's Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions.
But she also ran a toddler group on Tuesdays and Thurdays for younger children.
The toddler group - which is attended by parents - is for children aged up to two.
