PUPILS transformed themselves into witches, wizards, princesses, pirates and even a book mark to celebrate World Book Day.
The children of Hillside Primary School took part in a week of events around the theme of books, organised by the school librarian Sharon Steele.
Learning mentor Jill Mellor, who dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West, said: “We make sure reading is fun for the children and doing things like this makes it come even more alive for them.”
