THE restoration of the town’s historic Greenhead Park will be a topic on the agenda at the next meeting of Huddersfield North Area Committee.

The £5.4m scheme to restore the Victorian park to its former glory is now well under way.

Project manager Robert Whittaker will be at the meeting in Huddersfield Town Hall to give a presentation.

He will be showing photographs charting the work and showing what changes have been made to the park in the past year.

Mr Whittaker will give details on what finishing touches are needed to the scheme, which is due to be completed this autumn.

There will also be the chance for those attending the public meeting to ask questions about the project.

The meeting takes place on March 16 at 7pm.
