ARTIST Ashley Jackson will be in conversation with Canon Sam Corley at Bradford Cathedral next week to open a new exhibition.

The Holmfirth artist will be opening his exhibition on Yorkshire landscapes on Thursday, July 4, by talking in Bradford Cathedral about his work.

He will talk about his passion for the landscape and his belief we must protect it for future generations.

Mr Jackson said: “I was thrilled to be asked to exhibit at the Cathedral as I have always said that I paint in the ‘Great Cathedral of the open air’.”

Tickets are available now, priced £8 or £6 with concessions, from the Cathedral Office on 01274 777720.

Entry to the exhibition itself, God’s Own County Yorkshire running to August 9 is free, with donations appreciated.
