HOLMFIRTH Farmers’ Market has been re-accredited by Farma, the awarding body for UK farmers’ markets.
The national Farmers and Retail Markets Association uses set criteria to judge whether to award farmers’ market status.
The market must be one where farmers, growers or producers from a specific local area sell their own products, in person, direct to the public.
Holmfirth Farmers’ Market was one of the first certified 12 years ago.
It is held on the third Sunday of the month, from 8am to 2pm at Holmfirth Market Hall.
