Food lovers will be wending their way to Holmfirth this weekend.

The town is hosting a two-day Food and Drink Festival with more than 60 food and drink stalls and an open-air bar and food court.

Organisers say the festival will delight everyone from the real ale lover to the gourmet sausage fan.

There will also be an arts and crafts market selling local handmade gifts, live cookery demonstrations with free tasters, and tours of Holmfirth’s very own Nook Brewhouse.

On both days there will be quirky street entertainment from Bread and Butter Theatre, free face painting from 10am to 4pm and live music from the Frumptarn Guggen Band, The Street Jazz Jammers and The Moot.

On Sunday there will be Punch and Judy shows and balloon magic in the afternoon.
