A HOLMFIRTH schoolgirl is celebrating after being offered a place at a national ballet school.
Leah Darby, 10, pictured, has been selected for The Royal Ballet School, Surrey, after battling it out against 1,000 hopefuls.
The youngster will be among 12 taking up their places at the school this September.
Leah, who attends Wooldale Junior School, is a pupil of the Adele Taylor School of Dance in Huddersfield.
