A MAN has appeared in court charged with wounding a child with intent to cause her grievous bodily harm.
Christopher Lee, of Station Street in Holmfirth, appeared before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday. He is accused of maliciously and unlawfully wounding the female child on three separate occasions.
The alleged assault led to the child being left with fractured ribs twice and a fractured femur (thigh bone).
Lees case was committed to Bradford Crown Court, where he will first appear on January 13.
The 26-year-old was granted unconditional bail.
