DEVELOPERS have bought a former mill.
Hurstwood Living has bought Albion Mills in Meltham.
The company has been given planning permission for 24 town houses and flats at the site.
Managing director Neil Waddington said: “We’re delighted to add Albion Mills to our portfolio.
“This is an exciting project because there are few locations with such links to so many major cities while also boasting beautiful surroundings.
“There’s no doubt this will be a highly successful development.”
Albion Mills closed in 2003 with the loss of 43 jobs. The building on Mill Moor Road dates back to 1864.
Work is due to begin on September 17 and should be complete by early 2009.
