THESE brave women are staging a daring show to commemorate a milestone.

For Calendar Girls marks Honley Players’ 40th year and starts tomorrow.

Calendar Girls took the world by storm when it hit the stage and screen almost a decade ago.

The cast includes Andrea Gosslin – a founder member of the society – along with Beverly Turner, Hannah King, Mark Thewlis, Emma Spragg, Lynsay Richards, Julie Berry, Meg Plummer, Jenny Taylor, Matthew Walshaw, Ruth Jepson, Deborah Newton and Ash Legg.

Performances begin at the society’s Southgate Theatre tomorrow and continue until Saturday evening at 7.30pm. There is also a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
