A PUBLIC meeting to promote more green jobs will take place in Huddersfield.

Kirklees Campaign Against Climate Change and Huddersfield TUC say the message is simple – they believe the creation of climate jobs can help solve both the economic and climate crisis.

They want to promote job creation within areas of public transport, home insulation and renewable energy, saying one million jobs could be created if the government forms a National Climate Service (NCS) to invest in climate jobs.

The ‘One Million Climate Jobs Campaign’ meeting takes place tomorrow from 6.45 to 8.45pm at the Methodist Mission at Lord Street and it’s open to all.
