SHE’S back at her blonde best!

Huddersfield actress Zoe Lucker is set to set the streets of Walford on fire.

The Lindley-born actress begins a short stint on Eastenders this week.

The star, 36, and mother of Lilly Alabama, arrives in Walford as blonde temptress Vanessa Gold with car dealer Max Branning firmly in her sights.

In sizzling scenes to be screened on Friday, ladies’ man Max (Jake Wood) gets a warm welcome when Albert Square’s latest man-eater turns up to buy a motor.

As Vanessa looks from car to car, Darren follows her around like a puppy until Max spots her and insists on taking over.

He names a price for one of the cars and explains that he’ll be in The Vic if she decides to buy it.

Later, Vanessa turns heads as she struts into the pub and asks Max where to sign.

After they conclude their deal, Vanessa suggestively slips a card with her number on it into Max’s pocket.

Zoe, who made her name in Footballers Wives and went on to star in Holby Blue and Strictly Come Dancing, said: “Vanessa is smart and really glam. Max is intrigued by her.

“She wants fun and uncomplicated sex, but she has an agenda.”

Vanessa also arrives with daughter Jodie (Kylie Babbington) in tow.

And proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, tearaway Jodie soon becomes embroiled in a relationship with Max’s right-hand man Darren Miller.

It’s an exciting time for Zoe, who has been involved with the theatre since her teenage years.

She says she was inspired by her primary school teacher Tony Walker, who scripted a role for her in a school play.

She attended Huddersfield New College, where she met her mentor, Liz Hayward, a theatre studies teacher.

It was Liz Hayward who inspired her to apply for the Ardent School of Theatre, Manchester.

After her graduation, she became a part of the Hull Truck Theatre Company. Zoe Lucker exhibited her talent in stage plays while touring with the Hull Truck Theatre Company and played a vital role in Dracula and The New Office Party plays written by John Godber, a popular English playwright.

After spending a brief period with the Hull Truck Theatre Company, Zoe moved to London to act in television.

Initially, she got chances to act in TV advertisements and corporate videos. She also made appearances in many TV serials, including Doctors, Holby City, Lynda La Plante’s Killer Net, Boyz Unlimited, Trial and Retribution, Where the Heart Is, Coronation Street and Brazen Hussies.
