DRUG users in West Yorkshire are being warned about a dangerous batch of strong heroin, following the deaths of three men in East Lancashire.
Police and NHS Calderdale have issued the warning because of fears heroin from the batch responsible for the weekend deaths is now in circulation in Yorkshire.
Bryan Dent, West Yorkshire Police drugs co-ordinator said: “Drugs have a devastating effect on both individuals and communities.
“We support drug users getting help to assist them to stop using drugs. At the same time we are doing all we can to bring the suppliers of these harmful drugs to justice.”
Anyone who is injecting drugs is urged to contact local drug services who can give them more advice.
