FREEMASONS have donated more than £1,200 to the children’s hospice appeal.
The group, which meets monthly, chose the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust as the charity to receive the £1,280.
John Daniel said the donation was the remainder of the £7,000 the Masters of the Huddersfield Lodge raised during 2007.
Representatives of Huddersfield Masonic Lodges, John Daniel, Robert Stevenson, Mick Dyson, Andrew Luty, Howard Habron and David Brown, presented the funds to Gina Fielding of the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust at Outlane Golf Club.
