The fun of the fair added thrills and spills to the Easter holidays in Huddersfield.

Huddersfield Fun Fair, in Cambridge Road, opened on Thursday and families flocked for some half-term fun.

From thrill rides Voodoo Revenge and Freak Out to children's rides including the Mini Ski Jump and more, there was something for all ages to enjoy.

With more than 25 fairground favourites including waltzers, dogems, a fun house and a spooky ghost train, the Farrar's Best Value Fun Fair will be in town until Sunday, open 1pm-9pm.

Huddersfield Fun Fair follows the festive fair held on the same site in December.

Kirklees Council Mayor Clr Martyn Bolt officially opened the Huddersfield Christmas Fair before enjoying some rides.
