Young comedy star Jack Carroll is coming “home”.

The talented teenager who was a massive hit on Britain’s Got Talent is to play a comedy gig in Huddersfield.

And that’s great news for fans of the Brighouse High School student, who makes light of his cerebral palsy to put on a great show.

Calderdale comic Jack will be at Huddersfield Sports Centre on Saturday, December 14, for the Flashlight Comedy Gala featuring John Thomson, Colin Manford plus a support act.

Thomson is best known for his comedy acts in The Fast Show but also as a star of the hit drama Cold Feet.

Teenage star Jack is now making a name for himself as both a comedian and actor.

He finished runner-up in the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent at the age of just 14.

He also scooped a Pride of Britain Award from the Daily Mirror, for his achievements despite his disabilities.

As an actor, he has appeared in two series of the CBBC Channel show Ministry of Curious Stuff. Carroll, whose cerebral palsy is often a subject of his act, won a Pride of Britain award in 2012. Simon Cowell said: “Jack I absolutely love you. You are fearless and cheeky. Not many comedians make me laugh.”

He and Thomson will be supported by other acts led by MC Colin Manford, writer, actor, presenter who just loves to tell stories from his own unique perspective; covering all areas from his failed relationships to his weird and wonderful family life.

The opening act will be Brendan Riley, a stand-up comic from Liverpool known for his lively blend of anecdotes, gags and inspired improvisation bringing a refreshing blast of cheerful North Western humour.

The doors open at 6.30pm and the starts at 8.00pm.
