Cat owners of Huddersfield rejoiced to mark a day in tribute to their special pets.
International Cat Day was the top trend on Twitter throughout Monday, with many sharing pictures of their moggies.
From a dapper black cat in his smart tie, to an eager puss hijacking a holiday-maker’s suitcase, we saw a sample of Huddersfield’s finest felines.
Twitter user Kelly sent in a picture of tabby Bumble, who looked less than impressed to be wearing a black bobble hat.
David Hirst posted a picture of his cat on a walk with his dog, while Anabelle Hague showed off black cat Olly, who looked fancy in his black and red striped tie.
Kelda Childs also shared a picture of Vinnie, who was feline the need for a bit of sun and climbed into her suitcase.
And the town’s most famous kitty also made a blast on social media showing what she does best.
Station cat Felix posted a picture to her 80,000 Facebook followers showing her on pest alert duty at platform one.
The puss is taking part in a 5k challenge later this week for charity Fairy Bricks, where a GPS tracker will be attached to her collar.
